Hello... Kitty!

Posts to this blog, are sparse and few between ... my excuses are the usual, so I won't bore you with the details.

I wanted to share one of the shadow frames I made in November. It was commissioned by a friend who wanted it for a gift for gorgeous ''E's" 3rd birthday. I was told little ''E'' was MADLY in-love with anything 'hello kitty'' so I used that as inspiration for this totally pink, glittery and extremely girly frame, that she can hang in her room!

The papers I used are Crate Paper, Katlin collection
Die-cut butterflies (sizzix), talk bubble (misc), ghost butterfly & flower (heidi swapp), wooden flower (jumbo), buttons & ribbons, and most other embellishments are hand-made.
The shadow frame is IKEA.

As usual, I finished the project with only moments too spare (have I mentioned I seem to only work under pressure?) so the photos are very poor and I didn't manage to capture the 3D of the elements, but you get the picture!

Make n Take (part 2)

Γεια σας!

Είπα να σας δείξω την μία καρτούλα που έφτιαξα για τον ανηψιό / βαπτιστήρι μου!
Έχω κολλήσει και έναν μαγνήτη ενδιάμεσα από τα δύο χαρτιά (το mount και την εικόνα) για να μπορεί η αδελφή μου, να το βάλει πάνω στο ψυγείο!

(sorry για τα χάλια χρώματα... το φωτογράφισα νύχτα!)

Hope you are all well.

Thought I'd pop in and share one of the first cards I ever made. Found the photos on my camera. I really have to discipline myself and get into the habit of downloading photos more often. It was for my cousin D. on her wedding day to G. .... October of 2008 LOL!

I Played around with a bit of embossing and a little inking, and I remember that I had alot of fun making the cute little envelope inside.

World's worst blogger!

Could I possibly be a worse blogger? I had high expectations from myself while I was away in Australia, but alas... I didn't live up to them.

This is VERY embarrassing: I was given a blog award (Sunshine Award) by my friend Eleftheria... with the hope that, and I quote:

This is a 3D shadow frame that I made as a present for my friend V. of her gorgeous nephew G. Unfortunately the photos are bad as I took them indoors at night with a flash, but you get the idea!

I am Finally blogging!!

Hi all. November 30th, and this is my very first post. And it comes to you, all the way from Brisbane Australia!!

Still getting over jet lag, didn't expect it to be this bad, but travelling across so many time zones, really takes it's toll. The sun rose at 4.30 am this morning (don't know what that is about) it will take some getting used to, so the sun is high above us at 9 am, as apposed to 12 pm, that I am used to in Greece!

There is lots of running around to still do before my nephew's christening on Sunday. A guest book to still make, the bon-bons to finish off....

So far, australia looks.... WONDERFUL!! Haven't spotted a kangaroo yet LOL! Will keep you posted.
